The Decisions Infinity War Writers Have Made and Decisions They Wish They Could’ve Made

Posted on by

Screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFreely have stated that it was a challenge to write Infinity War for plenty of reasons. For one thing, they had a hard time working with the huge number of MacGuffins for the film. One thing that they have admitted was that it was hard enough to work with one MacGuffin. To have to deal with six of them brought forth a unique challenge for the screenwriters. They have eventually decided on what is known as a smash-and-grab approach for the film. Also, fans have noticed that Thanos already has one of the Infinity Stones at the start of the movie. For those that are looking for a reason, it is that the sequence that would’ve shown Thanos acquiring that stone would’ve done nothing to help the movie.

One other thing that the writers have revealed was that the original ending was much different. For one thing, the snap of the fingers was not meant for the ending of Infinity War. It was originally going to be saved for the next film. The original ending would’ve made it feel like too much of a cliffhanger. Therefore, the snap was moved to the end of Infinity War so that the film could feel like its own complete film. Avengers 4 is going to explore the consequences of the snap.

Had they gone with the original plan, the film wouldn’t have been anywhere near as good as the one that was released. Even though the film would’ve likely been a good film, it would not have had the effect that the final version had on the audience. Infinity War has turned out to be one complete emotional journey with the next film looking to be another complete emotional journey.

Infinity War is What The Last Jedi Should’ve Been

Posted on by

This is how a good sequel should be done. Infinity War united all of the characters of the MCU. It shows them in their worst position while at the same time, making sure that they are being respectful to the character. The Russo Brothers have done a good job at not only presenting a very cohesive story with a lot of drama and suspense, but also using comedy in a well timed and thoughtful manner. For one thing, there are a lot of comedic characters. At the same time, the comedy does not take away from the overall film. Instead, it adds to the film.

Given that Infinity War has come out and has made a huge impact in the industry as a whole, there are a lot of comparisons being made. For one thing, a lot of people are comparing it to Justice League. Infinity War has surpassed Justice League in such a short amount of time which shouldn’t be surprising because Justice League wasn’t that well received. Also, Avengers: Infinity War is the third overall Avengers film. The only thing is that it has been following well received and well executed films, whereas Justice League has been following a series that has started out mediocre, but has steadily declined in quality with each film.

One good comparison that can be made is between Infinity War and The Last Jedi. Both movies had an ensemble of characters that they had to deal. However, The Last Jedi failed because it went into arbitrary directions. Infinity War kept everything cohesive and all of the different subplots have come together in a satisfying way. Another interesting factor is that where The Last Jedi (seemingly) throws away a character that has been built up in the overall story, Infinity War delivers on the promise that the previews of their major character has given.

Directors of Avengers: Infinity War Declare War on Spoliers

The fast-approaching arrival of Avengers: Infinity War in theaters this April has Internet spoilers on full alert. The directors of the latest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe recently took to Twitter with a plea that fans resist the urge to spoil the film before others have a chance to see it.

On April 3, Infinity War directors Joe and Anthony Russo posted a tweet which featured the image of a typed letter in the glove of Thanos. The letter discussed the efforts that have been made to keep the plot of the film a secret, and the Russo brothers also stated that they would only be making a minimal amount of footage available for the Infinity War press tour.

The letter concluded with a straightforward request. “Don’t spoil the film for others, the same way you wouldn’t want it spoiled for you.” The message was retweeted by Robert Downey, Jr. who plays Iron Man/Tony Stark in the MCU. Other stars of the film such as Tom Holland have also added their support.

The anticipation for the latest Avenger’s film has reached a fever pitch since it was announced that the release of Infinity War would be moved up to April 2018. The film assembles the largest cast yet and includes Josh Brolin, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, and Chris Pratt. It will premiere in the United States on April 27, 2018. The Russo brothers are hoping to score another hit for the MCU, a production enterprise which shows no signs of slowing down after the massive success of Black Panther and other superhero films. Deadpool 2 is also looming on the horizon.

Summer of 2018 Is Looking to Bring Heat

Posted on by

While the previous summer had its share of blockbusters, the summer of 2018 is looking to up the stakes with some of the biggest event films of the era. To accompany these big event films is some of the smaller, but action packed films. Therefore, people are going to have a lot of films to see in theaters when they come out. There have already been some really good films released this year such as Black Panther, which is running very strong in the box office. It is likely going to be still playing in theaters when Avengers: Infinity War come out.

While Infinity War is going to dominate the box office for possibly the summer, there are other films that are sure to have its share of the profits. One movie that is coming out that is worth checking out is Mission Impossible: Fallout. This is the sixth film in a series that has finally found its style. Another film that is worth checking out is the exciting if not derivative Skyscraper, starring Dwayne Johnson, who has become a star who is on a streak not that different from Tom Cruise. Dwayne Johnson is also getting ready to appear in a Fast and Furious spin-off with Jason Statham.

To work with the Juggernauts of the summer are some smaller but really interesting films that are looking to take the audience by surprise. One film is Upgrade, which is about a man who is injected with fighting skills. Another film is the action packed comedy called Tag in which lifetime friends have been playing the same game of Tag since they were children. There is one person in the group that has not been tagged. Therefore, they are doing everything they can to tag which will result in a very intense but safe game of tag.

The Russo Brothers Wanted Wolverine in Infinity War

Posted on by

Wolverine is one of the most iconic characters in not only the X-Men franchise, but in all of Marvel. Therefore, it is only expected that people who are involved in the Marvel franchise is going to want to use him for their projects. The Russo brothers have recently stated that they had wanted Wolverine for Infinity War. One interesting thing was there was some point when Hugh Jackman has talked about playing Wolverine in projects after Logan. However, he has ultimately decided not to. For one thing, he knows he is aging and for this reason among other reasons, he has decided that he is ready to pass the torch.

Fans have speculated that Wolverine was going to make an appearance in either Avengers: Infinity War, or Avengers 4. There have been many speculations as to whether or not he is going to use his outfit that was seen in comics and other media, but only glimpse at on film in a deleted scene. Fox is still working out everything with Disney and everything is expected to be complete by 2019. This is when people can expect some other iconic characters in the MCU to pick up where some of the current set of characters are going to leave off.

Given that Wolverine has died in the most recent film, Logan, it is probably a good idea to let him rest and perhaps focus on some of the other characters in the X-Men franchise. In most of the X-Men movies, Wolverine was given most of the attention with all of the other characters besides Xavier taking a backseat. The First Class movies does give some attention to other characters. It is highly likely that all of the X-Men characters are going to be done justice in the MCU.

Avengers: Infinity War to Outdo Black Panther

Posted on by

This is turning out to be a very big year for Marvel with Black Panther being a major hit and breaking records. However, Avengers: Infinity War is outdoing Black Panther in every way. For one thing, the most recent trailer has been trending with tons of views. The ticket sales of Avengers have already outdone Black Panther. While some fans may be having conflicting feelings, one thing to remember is that Black Panther is in Infinity War. Another thing is that Infinity War is the culmination of everything that has happened in the MCU up to that point. Therefore, it is going to be even bigger than Black Panther, especially since it is based on one of the biggest stories in the Marvel Universe.

However, Avengers: Infinity War is expected to outdo Black Panther in another way. It is going to be even more human in story element than the former. Black Panther was definitely a human story which was universal in nature even though it had a predominantly black cast. For instance, the antagonist of the film, Killmonger was more of a tragic character than a villain. He is someone who was only wrong in his methods as opposed to his motives.

One thing that fans is going to find about Avengers is that Killmonger is not going to be alone in compelling villains. There is another villain who is perhaps every bit as compelling as Killmonger. He is Thanos, he has similar motives for what he is doing in Avengers: Infinity War. So fans can expect something of a magnified Black Panther with Avenges: Infinity War when it is released in a little more than a month.

Avengers Moves Up a Week Which Scares Rampage

Posted on by

Avengers: Infinity War is one of the biggest events of the year. However, even large event films are subject to reschedules. Infinity War has moved up a week form its original release date. This has brought forth a few subsequent moves in the schedule when it comes to other films on the release schedule. Among the other films that have to fight for their time to shine is Rampage, another big film that is supposed to be coming out as some of the pre-summer line up. One thing that is certain is that Avengers is set to make even more than Black Panther which has made a surprising amount of money.

Avengers has become a franchise that is even bigger than Star Wars given that it is a culmination of all of the big Marvel films that have come out. Given that this is actually one of the biggest Avenger films taking place in one of the biggest periods of the lives of the Avengers, people have high expectations for this film. Another thing that is worth considering is that this is only the first part of what can be a two part event with the next Avengers being released in the following year.

Dwayne Johnson himself states that he is motivated by the success of Marvel films like Black Panther. Dwayne himself has quite a few movies coming out this year. His first movie of the year, Jumanji has already been released. Rampage, which is a movie based on a video game is hoping to do big business before Avengers takes over. Dwayne also has another movie called Skyscraper, which is reminiscent of Die Hard.

Another Look at the Huge Avenger’s Event Film

Posted on by

The days are getting closer to the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War. As time gets closer, people are taking more of a look at the film through the trailers and other content that is available on the film. One thing that people are looking at are the changes that the characters are going through in the film. Another thing to look at is all of the changes that are coming to the MCU after the fourth film. However, this is a little far ahead in the future. As of right now, these are the following differences that the characters are facing as a result of their time.

Captain America is no longer the clean cut person that he is known as in the comic books. While he was the person who has been the clean cut do-gooder, the events that he has experienced has shown that sometimes what is right is often going to be opposed by the very people who support it. Another person who is going through a change is Vision, who is teased as getting an Infinity Stone removed from his forehead. There is also a shot of him in a more human form with Scarlet Witch embracing him.

One thing about the upcoming Avenger’s film is that it is supposed to be one of the most emotional and dark comic book films. At the same time, it is likely to end on a cliffhanger which will likely leave people hoping for more. One can only imagine what Avenger’s 4 is going to have for people when it comes out. This may turn out to be the biggest period for the MCU and comic book movies in general.

Gwyneth Paltrow Reveals “Infinity Wars” Spoiler?

Posted on by

Gwyneth Paltrow posted some pictures on her Instagram account which hint at her greater involvement in Avengers: Infinity War.

Paltrow plays Pepper Potts, the love interest of Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark/Iron Man. Over the course of his trilogy, she goes from his personal assistant to the CEO of his company, all while the two bond and fall in love. In Avengers: Age of Ultron we are told that they apparently broke up off-screen; nevertheless, they are apparently back together in the new film, and even engaged to be married. (Assuming they both survive, of course.)

Her pictures imply that she will be more than just Tony’s fiancé in this story, however. She seems to be wearing a motion capture suit, which means that she will need some full-body CGI for the film. This, in turn, means that she may be donning her own armor, becoming an Iron Woman beside her Iron Man beau.

This was theoretically set up in Iron Man 3, when she was infected with Extremis, a form of nano technology that gave people healing and other enhanced abilities. In the comics, however, Tony was infected himself and manages to modify the technological virus so that his armor fused with his body, allowing him to essentially turn into Iron Man at will.

Could the same be true of Pepper? Even if not, she has used “normal” powered armor in the comics at times, becoming the hero Rescue during emergencies. The attack of Thanos and his Black Order would certainly qualify.

No matter what, fans will likely be happy to see his popular character return. She made people love her just as a love interest, and if she becomes a hero in her own right now, that is even better.

The Countdown for the Avenger’s Infinity War Trailer Begins

Posted on by

Avengers: Infinity War is one of the most anticipated films to come out in the MCU. There has been a lot of talk about the film including when the trailer is going to be released. There has been footage released on the film at certain comic cons. However, there has been no official trailer released yet, and many people are eagerly awaiting the release of the trailer. Finally, there has been an announcement of the release of the trailer. The directors of Infinity War have started a countdown to the release of the trailer for the general public.

As of right now, the trailer is scheduled to be released on November 30. Therefore, people will be able to catch a first glimpse of all of the action and characters in all of its glory. One of the things that make Avengers Infinity War such a huge deal is that all of the movies have been building up to this from Iron Man to Thor: Ragnarok.

One interesting thing is that Avengers Infinity War was originally planned as two films with the first one being Infinity War Part 1 and the second one being Infinity War Part II. As of right now, the title of Avengers 3 is simply Avengers: Infinity War with the 4th Avengers movie not having a title because the title would be a spoiler to the ending of the upcoming Infinity War film.

Avengers: Infinity War is going to be such a huge film because it is going to feature the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy and maybe even introduce some new characters. The next two Avengers movies are probably going to be the most pivotal films in the MCU.
