Justin Timberlake’s upcoming album “Man of the Woods” was announced last week with a lot of fanfare and questions. He first unveiled the album on his twitter account with a handwritten note that showed sixteen tracks that would be included in the new album. Alongside two of those tracks were the initials of two collaborators that Justin also left the fans to ponder.
Based on the title of the album, fans might have thought that Justin’s songs would be about trees or the actual woods. However, based on the released single “Filthy”, it seems that he’s staying true to his signature trademark of bringing the same electrifying R&B sensation.
Justin’s 27-city Man of the Woods Tour will begin in March 2018 at Air Canada Centre in Toronto. But, fans can find out what some of the other songs such as “Flannel” and “Supplies” sound like before then. The album officially debuts on February 2, 2018. The tour is scheduled to end on May 30, 2018 in Memphis, Tennessee; Justin’s hometown.
Before then, Justin is gearing up for headlining the Super Bowl LII half-time show. The game will be held on February 4, 2018 at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Justin was a guest singer with Janet Jackson’s Super Bowl XXXVIII halftime performance in 2004. His performance has been widely anticipated throughout the entertainment and music industry, for years.
Justin’s persona is likable and his performances leave an audience with excitement and positive energy. He’s been tight-lipped about the 12-minute show and has not given any indications if there will be any collaborations. In a humorous gesture on Instagram by actor and singer Will Smith, he provided Justin some advice about his upcoming performance as well as sharing a “Throwback Thursday” photo of both of them.
