Alexandre Gama is an entrepreneur from Brazil, born June 1st, 1958 in Rio de Janeiro. His career revolves around the advertising and communications industry. He founded one of Brazil’s top twenty advertising agencies, Neogama, and remains the current CCO and CEO. He was the first Brazilian to serve as the WCCO of a global agency network.
Alexandre Gama started his career at Standard Ogilvy & Mather in 1982 as a creative and copywriter. He served DM9 for four years beginning in 1990, and became Brazil’s most awarded copywriter. He has worked at numerous, prestigious agencies. He became of member of the board in 2012 for ABAP. He received recognition for the promotion and support he provided to the industry of Brazilian communications.
Alexandre Gamma was additionally involved with the industry of music. He was responsible for the establishment of VIOLAB in 2014. This was a music project featuring acoustic guitars, a recording label, a recording studio, a YouTube channel and a radio program. The program promoted Brazil’s best musicians and acoustic guitar players.
In 2014, Alexandre Gamma received an invitation to display his work at the MAB, or Brazilian Art Museum. The name of the art exhibition was Ideia e Forma, the only exhibit of this nature ever seen in Brazil.
